When it comes to summer, it definitely limits what gents can wear. I mean what is menswear without layering, am I right? However, there are some other ways to look stylish during the summer and I got 3 of them. All of these looks fit different situations, but can be mixed and matched to fit formalities.
1. SUITED
Yes, suits. Most of you guys are thinking well suits will get you hot wont they? No they wont, as long as we wear the right fabrics. Linen, seersucker and cotton are going to be your best friends until the end of the season. I do not own any seersucker but the outfits you see below are all cotton or linen suits or suit separates.
2. VEST & PANTS + TEE SHIRT
This is perhaps one of the looks that I pulled off all summer. A t-shirt under a matching vest and pants. You can do this with a suit as well, but this keeps you even more cool and it looks even better. Vest and pants have got a bad rap since they've been associated with waiters, but just don't wear black its that easy. I wear both my charcoal and blue outfits all the time and get so many compliments you have to try it.
3. A DRESS SHIRT + PANTS
This is almost a given, if you just don't want to throw on any extra layers, always opt just to put on a nice button down and some slacks (or jeans). This will always have you looking stylish for any occasion. I love to wear some of my shirts out or even just roll up the sleeves to be even more cool.
4. ROCK SOME SHORTS ANYWAY YOU FEEL
Ill be honest I am not the biggest fan of shorts, I don't detest them and I do rock them, however I just don't get up and think let me throw on these shorts. I wear shorts mostly to the gym or on weekends during the day if I'm running errands. But most gents like them so I decided to include them. You can definitely dress up shorts just as much as you can dress them down. In my opinion we really should leave shorts more in the casual section of the clothing spectrum.
